Airavata Gold is inspired by the Hindu and Buddhist sacred white elephant, the mount of Indra, king of gods. Though not white and with only one head, our elephant is carved from Damascus carbon with tusks in solid gold, with Asterion Duochrome ornament featuring added golden lines. Our proprietary backlight under the sapphire crystal logo turns on in parallel with the screen.

Across the 17 Collection, the Asterion ornament serves as the unifying motif — a contemporary interpretation of the Labyrinth associated with the myth of the Minotaur (also known as Asterion). Its refined lines are made possible by several innovations introduced this year: our newly developed Duochrome composite, the adoption of jewellery enamels, and an advanced marquetry technique that integrates these materials into each back panel.
